Robert, please note, they are all HTML web files not actual documents that would need an internet connection and then need to be re-saved or ‘printed’ as .pdf files. When you hit say several hundred stories it’s a bit much extra work to re-save. This is a Medium feature I’ve already tried long before your story which is why I’m sharing with you my firsthand experience about it not being entirely accurate if you mean ‘backup’ as that term can be misunderstood. I have not been ever able to find in any Medium ‘backup’ to include any of my multiple story DRAFTS so it’s assumed you’d lose that work as well if you don’t have an offline backup of all your stories including your drafts. If you have any leads on this, I’m open to being corrected.
